Meet the maker and content creator

Hello, I’m Zoë, the designer and creator behind Spotty N Stripy!

I’ve always been drawn to creativity, from studying art in Nottingham to completing my degree in Two Dimensional Design in Hertfordshire. After university, I moved to Lincolnshire, where I worked as a designer for a joke and novelty company (yes, whoopee cushions were involved!).

In 2008, everything changed when I became a mum. While adjusting to life with nappies and night feeds, I started dabbling in design again, creating a small range of greetings cards. They took off online, and soon, Spotty N Stripy was born. I became a Not On The High Street partner and developed my signature typographic style. In 2012, my personalised wedding couple print became a bestseller – and it’s still a favourite today!

Now, I work from my cosy studio in a tiny Lincolnshire village, surrounded by a beautiful lake, a Christmas tree farm, and endless inspiration. Sustainability is at the heart of my business. I’ve ditched cello wraps in favour of eco-friendly packaging, and I even use a trusty wheelbarrow to take my post into the village! Every card, print, and gift is designed, printed, and hand-assembled with love, making thoughtful, personalised presents for every occasion.

Alongside my personalised products, I also run content creation packages for small businesses. Over the years, I’ve managed social media for Fillingham Christmas Trees and Ingham School, as well as building my own channels. I’m also the Community Manager for Reels Rockstars, where I help support hundreds of small business owners each week and have worked with thousands through the membership & online workshops over the last couple of years. All of that experience now feeds into my content creation work, helping other small businesses show up consistently on Instagram with Reels .... without the stress.
