Hello, I’m Zoë, the designer and creator behind Spotty N Stripy!

I’ve always been drawn to creativity, from studying art in Nottingham to completing my degree in Two Dimensional Design in Hertfordshire. After university, I moved to Lincolnshire, worked as a designer for a joke and novelty company (yes, whoopee cushions were involved!) and then went on to build my own design and personalised gift business.

For 16 years, I designed, made and sold personalised products, completing more than 60,000 orders along the way.

After five years of creating content for my own business, learning everything I could about Instagram and becoming Community Manager for Reels Rockstars, in 2025 I decided to shift my focus purely into content creation for small businesses.

And for the last 12 months, that’s exactly where my focus has been.

But as time has gone on, I’ve realised I don’t need to choose between the two.

So today, Spotty N Stripy is home to both: personalised products designed and made by me, and creative content for small businesses that want to show up online without the stress.

Alongside running my own business, I manage social media and create content for other small businesses, as well as working as Community Manager for Reels Rockstars, supporting hundreds of small business owners with their content.

It all feeds into what I do now: decades of design experience, 16 years of running a product business and everything I’ve learnt about creating content that gets small businesses noticed.

And, as ever, it all happens from my little studio in a tiny Lincolnshire village.
